Wow is easy?

Had a discussion with some rookie before that was claiming how easy wow is and such.

Three reasons why some think wow is easy (will be short):
1. easy to get purples
2. content is pugged
3. is just faceroll

There is way more things people argue with but these are the most common, atleast for me. First of all, epic level items isn't as special as it was in vanilla, it will never turn to that point again, CAUSE THAT'S OLD THINKING! Feel free at level 60 to go achieve your purples, I doubt "everyone" will have em, with that you will feel special! Why care about the color of an item? The item doesn't make the player, not even a part of it. Sure you get 2x T9 from voa if you're lucky, and will those item clear toc heroic for you? If they do that, you deserved them, but they ain't a free ticket to pro-ness. The better gear you have the easier it gets to dps/heal/tank, in numbers. The gear won't move you from fire.  "buhu i have greens and outheal epic-geared healer" Then you're better than him (if its not rng/slacking/whatever), and you have the exact same chance to get those purples he have, they didnt magically appear in his inventory.

Sure, content is pugged, if you say algalon is pugged, it doesnt make a difference. If someone manage to kill something with whoever, they deserve it. It isn't like they teleported there and the boss died with a snap.. A pug doesnt have to be bad, a pug doesnt have to be badly geared, a pug can easily watch a video where someone else killed a boss and then repeat. ITS EASY THAT WAY AND ALWAYS BEEN, IN ANY MMO!

Doesnt matter who kills what, it's the effort that counts. This guy saying "blabla is pugged, blablabla is 5manned", so? read above. The fact is, this guy haven't cleared ulduar nor had 1800+ rating (gogo relentless weps!), you know why? he couldn't decide the reason, but he came up with 2 versions.

1. I was healing better in green items than that epic geared healer. if i get the gear everything will just become easier and then there's nothing more to go for!
2. I dun have good gear in arena so we cant win against better geared comps, and warrior/druid is op and kick our asses.

 Are you for real? Try heal Anub HC p3 if you can't find any challanges, you'll hopefully struggle for a week or so! ;) About arena, I don't have much to say but i've never had gd gear in there.. and i'm doing fine against warriors with t2 wep/justicebringer. Played the rarest comps around aswell, and made progress!

Look in the sidebar, and fyi, we cleared ulduar "AFTER" toc release, doubt it's so easy huh!

To answer the 3rd argument, I can't tell you what classes is just faceroll, but I can assure you I've tried most of em, and i've never played flawless, nor is anyone else doing.

There isn't really happening much around, which means there is nothing to blog about! I play a game called World of Warcraft and I hate it most of the time at this moment.. I just wish it was for single player X(

Playing some Aion on the side of this, but ain't doing much there either. Right now my goal is to proc worthy titanium sword into worthy noble. Would be awesome! Might continue my leveling, which im taking veeery slow (and I enjoy it) it really isn't so far hectic to reach the final level, even thou it sucks right now to be behind a tiny bit, such as now in 3 levels I will enter Abyss (big pvp area or so) and get ganked by 5 levels higher Elyos.

I must say how interesting it is to stream, the other night we were finishing off as many achievements as possible within the ulduar, but in the end I totally got flamed for being bad after so long time in ulduar.

Some guy joins the chat while we are trying to kill 9 guardians at the same time, and appearantly that is the wrong way to go, "we must kill them one by one else our tanks is gonna die", OBVIOUSLY.. We were going for an achievement, nobody cares about deaths! But sure, you maybe thought that's how we do it, understandable, AT FIRST!

Once we get them down, and trying to do speed achievement, which shouldnt be any problem, but we wipe the first time due to failing only getting one portal phase (shield went down from dots) but half of the raid is now insane, so.. we die. I get explained that you must leave portal room else you will die. Good tip! anyhow we're still not that serious about this run so... After our second attempt everything went fine and once we opened the shield everyone went zergmode, not turning for gaze, neither refilling sanity. Actually it worked ignoring that, but I suppose some did fail since I got explained that I have to turn on gaze and refill sanity, and we're a noob shit guild.

If you are reading this, I just found you hilarious and thanks for the smiles :) Now eat my Death's Demise (did mention it) but it means we killed yogg-saron with 0 keepers and actually were first to do so on the server, so spare me with the flaming X(

Short update

I want to leave a few words to ya all before I hit the shower..

Voa25 is one of the most hated instances in my opinion and should be removed asap, but well the game is just gettign easier to accomplish with every day that comes. I miss the times when purples actually meant something, I'd like you to armory-check Noms on Azjol-Nerub to see what I mean ;) *NO OFFENSE NOMS <3*

But the new casual-content isn't too easy, since this was my 5th try this week to attempt Koralon, the new voa boss. Basically what I've seen is difficult with this fight is, fire in the middle = unseen, fire breath and a fire patch on his last turn = most likely unavoidable death. Shit happens but we killed him today without much of a hustle, windrunner legs (hunter lootz) dropped and a obv 2x conq rest welfare epics (boes, 5mans etc) won them without, what I think, have done either naxx/ulduar or toc. I could be wrong but recount proved me right atleast, and aswell having a better geared hunter(toc25 gear etc) 2nd with 1-2k dps less.

Avg. dps voa25, 7-8k as MM.

Depressing...

It is depressing how bad pugs are actually, even for 5-mans, nuff said.

Tried out atleast voa10 now, after koralon was dead our time ran out /sigh, so we decided to continue IF we won WG right after. To even WIN wintergrasp by defending is a difficult task and this was the first time I thought wintergrasp fighting was actually fun! We start off by rushing randomly all over the map, and this opens up for the horde to completely ruin 2(?) walls to the west, and we're only having the east workshop in our grasp. Surprised as I was, I saw plenty of people defending our  last wall and relic door, pushing back every siege tank that tried to penetrate the castle. After a few minutes there was aswell almost an entire raid helping out killing the southern towers, making hordes deadline short.

We managed to hold the hordes ground at the west workshop and with avg. 10 demolishers killing every siege tank that crossed the battlefield, it was a beautiful sight! A sudden turn by the horde made us lose the east workshop and they brought down 1/2 walls on the east, in just a few seconds an entire raid had gather on the east side to defend, and with every tank dead and one minute left the victory was ours!

I'm proud of those PuG's (and a few guildies) that stayed around and helped us finish our vault run.

avg. 5-6k dps as MM w/o maximizing in VoA(10 player)

The Beast Within!

The time has come to try out the Beast Mastery tree for once, it's been nerfed plenty of times and nowadays you can't find a single hunter using it!

We are starting out talentwise with 54/13/4 which is a tiny mod of the current FOTM, since I actually need that 1% hit. I'm way too lazy to actually maximize something in this, especially glyphs.

After a few look-arounds Devilsaur seemed to be the FOTM pet, but according to the spreadsheet(91f), Raptor outplays it by 4 dps or so. In this situation I'm also too lazy to actually get myself a devilsaur but thanks to this I can use my raptor, which is named after the +10-whore Raindra. Oh Raindra btw, I'm catching up!

It doesn't seem to show up any groups so I can try BM out, daily heroic turned out fine anyhow, #1 on the dmg meters Mwaahahahaha! Thou instead of a 2k lead, I had about 50-200dps gap. /facepalm

We'll see how this turns out!

Trial of the Grand Crusader

so is my net! or were.. What a pain.. Anyhow we managed to get it working quite late so I went for a powernap instead and 3 hours later I was fit for fight, time to roll rogue! Managed to get level 15 before the maintenance sneaked up and backstabbed me and now following up with a few kidney shots X( *Server went down 03-07* But it's still offline /sigh it's not meant to be us two!

First a few changes we'll see in heroic:

Removed due to wall of text ;) There's loads of changes for every boss but what I've read so far won't change the fact they should be oneshots!

Seems interesting and really is a healers fight! No wipes please :S

Second of all, azjol seems to be down until 3pm today, what a sick thing for blizzard to do it is so unfair!!!

Server went up quite early, managed to get Crusader and voa10 for now, will hopefully get into trial of the grand crusader tonight and that will if so be streamed! more info closer to 8pm!

Tomorrow!

Incoming heroic mode for trial of the (grand) crusader, will be interesting to see how it will turn out.. Do you have to progress each boss again or do you get everything at once now? Anyhow, in order to achieve the realm first, we are needed to have 0 wipes throughout the entire instance! In normal mode that would've been achieved already, but wonder how hard heroic is really.. In the current conditions we've had way too many guilds clearing it normal mode without that many hardships. Since we are the only guild that have actually cleared ulduar it would hurt in my soul if we lost a feats to some randoms!

I will most probably stream the entire wednesday for those who has the interest, and hopefully, no runtime errors will occur. Watch me troll AH, do dailies, getting into new voa/toc and such already from 11am! It's time to PROGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!

As an off-note, aion is now downloaded! :):)
